3 | This is a RACI template I've used several times with good results. To learn more about the basics and why/when you should use one, please see my blog post. The example given is for a big software launch—a major version or a whole new product. Not all rows will apply to your project (even if it is a launch). In fact, one of the earliest steps is to socialize your draft matrix with all the involved departments, adding and subtracting rows as needed. Your draft will be a brainstorm—but it's better to get more than you need and whittle it down than have those review meetings be mostly about things you didn't consider.
