What if Harry Potter but it's #productmanagers? I wouldn't usually post a #ChatGPT transcript, but this is too damn good. It goes on for a while, but you can read the whole thing here: https://lnkd.in/gQ_aQheE So what do you think it got right about #productmanagement and #productdesign? What did it get wrong? Comment here. If you're in Austin, please join me and a couple hundred of my best friends at #productcampatx on the 22nd. My session proposal is "How To Catch ChatGPT In A Lie". Fun! —————— ME: Write a treatment for a Harry Potter novel but the professors are all software product managers ChatGPT: In a world where magic and technology meet, the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry has undergone a major change. The professors who once taught magic have been replaced by a new set of educators: software product managers. These product managers are determined to impart the skills of great product management to the students of Hogwarts. The story follows a group of students as they navigate the new curriculum, which includes lessons on customer discovery, market research, user experience design, and agile development. Along the way, they must confront new challenges such as launching a successful product in a crowded market, building a product roadmap that balances short-term and long-term goals, and managing stakeholder expectations. The students are led by a young wizard named Harry, who is eager to learn the ways of product management. Harry is joined by his best friends Ron and Hermione, as well as a new classmate named Ginny who is a natural at user research. Together, they must work on a group project to build a magical app that solves a real-world problem. As the school year progresses, the students encounter various obstacles that test their skills as product managers. They must learn to work collaboratively, communicate effectively, and make tough decisions based on data and user feedback. Along the way, they also uncover a sinister plot that threatens the future of Hogwarts itself. With the help of their product management professors, Harry and his friends must use their skills to solve the mystery and save the school. In the end, they emerge not only as skilled product managers but also as true leaders who have learned the value of empathy, teamwork, and innovation. ME: You mentioned a mystery. What might that be in the world where Harry and friends are learning product management rather than magic? ChatGPT: The mystery that the students encounter in this world revolves around a magical app which is designed to help people find lost items… —————— It goes on to tell us how the mystery is resolved, what Ron, Hermione, Snape, and Dumbledore do in this world, and more! Check it out: https://lnkd.in/gQ_aQheE #ai #ml will we all be #opentowork soon? 🤣

Image credit goes to BlueWillow, but ChatGPT also drafted the prompt for our book jacket. As usual, I'm kinda stunned. ChatGPT seems to be very good at synthesizing compositions in this kind of wacky situation, but it could be put to more serious use. Content marketers and product managers, what's your take?
